Since every troll seems to claim they win big all the time, but we know the majority lose, I made a poll to ask everyone! Let's see what people think vs. what we know. Remember these are anonymous votes so no need to be biased.

i'm on par to be honest, but i don't trade too much, last time was with doge, and at end i was above, but then i lost something with other currencies

i'm not that good at it, maybe because i'm not trading too much

yes, trading altcoin can be speculating altcoin in short term! Most of ppl will lose! But there is another type of trade for the long term, which is to buy now and hold for the future! In crypto world, there are a lot of shitcoins! If you pick the wrong coins, you will lose all.

I don't trade much at all in total I would be at a loss. My first trades were the worst going in with all I had and waiting for a big shift. Now when I do trade it's smaller swings and playing either way. At the end of the day I like to be in bitcoin.

funny, I never thought of myself as a good trader, but I actually got some nice profit (arbitraging) before I stopped trading.
it IS tiring though, having to keep track of a lot of coins in different sites. sometimes the site that I use as my reference is wrong, too.

I'm not going to go back though, because it's tiring and I'm afraid it's just a matter of time before I lose big.

Always losing at the beginning, it's a jungle out there. I'm studying some finance book now to undestand, even if crypto is different. About the trolls...if there's no proof of huge gain, don't feed them.

I tried trading alts a while back. Had a capital of 0.1btc and bought a few coins I thought had potential. A week into the attempted trading, won some and lost some. Overall suffer a loss of 0.03btc. I got out without loosing it all.

It's funny to see fake news in the cryptoworld, made by traders.
I don't remember exactly but last week I read a news saying that Rakuten starts accepting Bitcoin and Mazacoin Cheesy ...

If we are talking about the high-leverage futures (like OKCoin or 796 Exchange ) then I can guarantee you that a vast majority lose.

In fact, when you introduce leverage, traders turn into major gamblers. You can basically allow them to open whatever position they want and you can take the other side of the trade knowing safely that you can make money. That's how FOREX Bucketshops have operated for a long time.

difficult to predict something that is essentially random, even if something became predictable about it, Eg Price rises at 7:32Am every morning, so many people would be buying in prior to that time the prediction would be destroyed.

I'm on a positive streak so far, though that doesn't count all the time I've wasted on pointless endeavors.
