i have a few armory paper backup wallets.

how do i access the coins in them? i have the root key and chain code.

i have a few armory paper backup wallets.

how do i access the coins in them? i have the root key and chain code.

In Armory just go to the Wallets menu and select "Import or Restore Wallet". Then choose the type you're trying to restore (single-sheet backup I guess). It's all wizard'ified from there.

Edit: Woops, I just realized you were probably talking about accessing the coins without restoring the wallet.

got it! found some old armory backups. unfortunately all were empty Sad

Just for future reference you can use the blockchain.info app to scan and retrieve bitcoin from paper wallets. Sorry they were empty.

Just for future reference you can use the blockchain.info app to scan and retrieve bitcoin from paper wallets. Sorry they were empty.

You can also use Mycelium for this as well. You do need a QR code of the private key though.
