interesting thought i dont think MMJ users would likely be capable of understanding a cryptocurrency, hashing, & programming...

Are you serious that currencies like this have been outlawed in Cali?

Yes and No

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=93649.0

They have some really bad laws out here, i swear they can outlaw anything they consider bad.

They passed a law that was very poorly written and can be applied to alot of digital currencies and other digital transactions.

I know quite a few Bitcoiners in SoCal. We want to get a regular meetup going in San Clemente so we can have people from Santa Barbara and San Diego come. Already have a place with a big bitcoin proponent with a 20,000 square foot office to host.

Some people may be interested, I know a certified flight instructor in north San Diego, KCRQ, that will take bitcoins for both the flight instruction and plane rental. Plus, very accomodating and will meet you anywhere in SoCal for lessons, etc. Highly recommend! And no, not me.

San Clemente is on the north side of the checkpoint on the 5. If you really don't want to worry about border patrol then just fly over their damn checkpoint...

I have been sticking a cattle prod towards the former Liberty Coin guys to make this happen.

Planning on having a meeting in Carlsbad Tuesday at noon with the owner of the building so if any Bitcoiners want to stop by I think it would be good. PM me for details if you want to come along.
