in which section is it? I don't see it for some reason. It's under the "More" section of the US Edition.

it's just a simple explanation, but sufficient enough to make people understand. hopefully this will invite more people into using bitcoin in their everyday lives. one thing that kinda irks me is the way they made bitcoin mining sound so easy and cheap...

Well they have old facts about mining cost etc so this will give us some more exposure but bit part of users will end up scammed by cloud mining or they will invest into miner and probably never meet desired ROI :/

I don't think it's a recent addition to their page. It still says Mt Gox is the largest exchange, heh. It was likely written at a time when it was slightly easier and cheaper to mine. Not a bad effort considering it's a mainstream site, though. Just needs a bit of an update.

Didn't catch anything, it might be a personalized frontpage based in your browsing history.

It is a bit simplistic and outdated indeed. Would expect a bit more insight and up to date report from the world leading news network. But it is a nice starter and a positive frontpage mention is very nice for awareness. Though most people know about it, but wouldn't want to touch BTC with a ten foot pole. There needs to be a bigger incentive and we could start using it as intended.

No. I tested it with various browsers before starting this thread.

While CNN isn't as popular as others, it's a taker in terms of positive media reigning in on the bitcoin marketplace. Plant the seeds and let them grow as time goes forward. Net positive.
