I was wondering why everyone has a same kind of avatar( pic with some words on it).

Like people have paid signatures, can they also now have paid avatars with advertise for a particular website?
Was just curious to know if the admins would allow it?
P.S : I wont support avatar ads, they will make the forum look disgusting.

I don't think so. Theymos and Badbear already expressed their hate toward the signature spams to the point of making some changes.

I don't think so. Theymos and Badbear already expressed their hate toward the signature spams to the point of making some changes.

I think at a cert point, some users will start to sell their "avatar space" for some bitcoin and the payrate will be really good.

If you especially dislike the avatar you were given, uploading a new avatar (or reuploading your current one) will give you a random new one. If anyone has any ideas for more "fool" avatars to add, post them here and I might add them later today.

The avatar feature will work properly after April 1.

Cool! This proves a point that bitcoin users aren't really that serious as to what other people view us all along. We tend to be funny sometimes, to the extent that we end up fooling ourselves. Happy April Fools!

Haha what a great April Fools prank. I'm hoping that custom avatars stick after today too, I really like mine and must have just missed the window when I signed up to when avatars were disabled.
