Haha what a great April Fools prank. I'm hoping that custom avatars stick after today too, I really like mine and must have just missed the window when I signed up to when avatars were disabled.

It will most likely stick around, but the avatars are randomized, so you can't really choose what you want to as an avatar as another user will view you differently as you can see for yourself. 

If you especially dislike the avatar you were given, uploading a new avatar (or reuploading your current one) will give you a random new one. If anyone has any ideas for more "fool" avatars to add, post them here and I might add them later today.

The avatar feature will work properly after April 1.

OK, I must've missed that part. Thanks for the heads up! I've been waiting to get an avatar for a long time, was kind of kicking myself for not setting one back in 2013 when I registered.

anyway. will there be a rank restriction for using an avatar? at least it will prevent new member to imitate a trusted user's name and avatar.. just saying oops. never mind then

I actually half-hoped that people will have to pay a small fee to put on an avatar. but I guess it's fine as long as there's a rank restriction

Nice joke  . However what do you think guys ? Maybe someone will start to sell his avatar for btr, I suggest the staff to put a rule against this thing.

I think this is really fun as I was around back when I could have uploaded an avatar but I never did and then avatars were disabled which left me feeling like one of the noobs without an avatar when I was old enough to have been in the cool club
