QUICK POLL: DaDice Avatar Campaign

I certainly don't want everyone to wear the same or dadice logo and take down the entire forum, lol.

Entry would be optional (not compulsory with sig campaign or anything), payouts won't be high, say 5% of sig payout per week or something, and very few limited spots.
1. There will be at least a few variants that doesn't look alike (I certainly don't want everyone to wear the same one!)
2. Only a few limited spots.

So what do you say?

I think it would be interesting to have a few more variants of the signstures that people could choose from.

I don't think I would want to sell my avatar space personally especially for a low price as an avatar is more associated with your identity then your signature. There were also much less people who have some kind of advertisement on their avatars and even then it is for their own business.

I would also fear that buying avatar space would lead to the disabling of avatars in the future.

voted yes, only with an exception there is a variant to the avatar that each one own, it will be very annoying and might be considered an avatar spam to have few people to post in a thread with same signature and same avatar

Two more months to major improvements. I will be free for a lot of time then and will be able to improve everything exponentially.

New Suggestion Received.

How about editing your current avatar with the text?

Could maybe compromise and have it so people just add the words DaDice to their own custom avatar instead of having lots of members with the same/similar avatar. That way it would be more subtle and less likely to offend other members, mods etc

That is a nice idea.

A few issues there:
Will the participant take the time and effort to add it to their avatar?
Will it be visible? since the bg color differs and the size of the avatar is small too.

since almost all that reply here actually voted yes, the one that voted no could be those not from dadice campaign or they have some issue with the avatar campaign, since the avatar is flashy enough, someone could get annoyed with it

Too bad, I thought the new avatar feature could be a great advertisement to replace the old Personal message advertisement, but anyway I guess it is not effective enough for this campaign

Well It will be good for Da Dice if everyone just putted there avatar in profile and we hear a next update that changing avatar is disabled lol then what to do ? da dice logo will be attach with us for whole life . gl da dice

Can you shed some more light and tell us what happened? I found this thread now and I voted yes, only to read this topic a bit further and see that this avatar campaign is no longer possible.

Because dadice think it would be ineffective to actually have couples of different avatar to for the avatar campaign and they would like us to have the same dadice logo as avatar which was an objection by many of us since we thought it could be considered as a spam, so they withdrew it

I think we should skip the avatar options!

The only avatar acceptable to us would be our logo and not 5 or more different avatars. Since this is somehow opposed - and I understand why, we should just go on with our very successful signature campaign for now.
