Please note this auction follows on from an initial post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1008150.msg10940000#msg10940000 which wasn't a formal auction, so has been closed down, apologies for this slight misposting. The decision to market this coin was made quickly, 'on the fly' so to speak, to help raise funds for Chris Ellis'  ProTip Project , hence the slight 'mispost' .... Sorry.

HardBTC is helping to raise money for the Open Source Bitcoin project ProTip. A peer to peer tipping app for that runs on the blockchain.

This rare 10 BTC Casascius coin is being offered as part of the fund raiser.

HardBTC is  looking to raise as much as we can from the sale of this coin, and hence would like to appeal to the community for a great price. We well be donating a significant proportion of the proceeds to ProTip the Open Source Bitcoin project, a noble cause that is currently underway, lead by Chris Ellis. @ProTipHQ

As this is a new thread, I will say it again 

I can vouch for David. I have done many many deals with David over a few years now. Through Ebay, or paypal invoice, or coin trade, or BTC payments, or bank transfer, or face to face. Never an issue.

HardBTC was listed on Mikes Casascius site as a recommended reseller (may have been the first one listed from memory)

I daren't imagine how many Cas coins were resold by David. 100's ... maybe even 1000's.

He's just been working on other things more recently

Will be interesting to see what this goes for. There's only a select market for these. I can't remeber the last time one of these sold at auction but I guess we'll soon find out.
