MindCoin is being launched to raise awareness of Mental Health Issues that many people face and to release a positive and charitable Crypto Currency.

About one quarter of people will experience some kind of mental health problem in the course of a year, with mixed anxiety and depression. Mental health problems are found in people of all ages, regions, states, countries and societies. Did you know suicide remains the most common cause of death in men under the age of 35?

When people talk about mental health problems, most people jump the gun and think of Depression and Anxiety, Whilst these are two of the most common problems there are many more. To list a few.

Bipolar Disorder, Eating Disorders (Bulimia), Anorexia, PTSD, OCD, Schizophrenia, Autism, ADHD, Tourettes, Insomnia, Narcolepsy, Dementia, Social, Conduct and Panic disorders.

I have problem with health (not mental, but anyway), we can make a twitter/facebook campaign to raise awareness about people problems, and maybe this coin will become something more than one week P&D, maybe not, who knows...
But! If only this coin will not fail with launch and dev will be active and not leave coin right after launch.

We made a quick post early this morning (just before the DDoS) with all intention to edit it and add more info.

We want this to be a serious and promising coin, While it may not get global domination like DASH (Darkcoin), Litecoin or Bitcoin, we hope it will gain good monetary value and be used for charitable donations in the future. We don't want a P&D coin, this is what we want to try and avoid.

Our dream is to have a dedicated donation currency, Much like FedoraCoin is/was dedicated to tipping.

We have no Pre-mine, We want this coin to gain popularity by its purpose and not to be held back because of some developers need, I believe as a charitable coin we will create services out of our own pocket to support this.

Yes, There certainly is. Many are just overlooked. Some people think Mental Health is not as serious as Physical Health and class some diseases like Alzheimer's as a physical health condition.

This coin will be created to increase the awareness of such issues.

Hi I recently checked that out.

MHA was a failure due to the dev's inadequacy to spend time on it. I have no such problem spending time on this coin and spending my own money to run services. I thought it was a good idea but I had already came up with this coin before I seen it.

We also saw a bunch of coins by "non-newbie" devs that were utter failure.. unless there is a massive IPO or a high potential for a heist that shouldn't matter much, especially without any premine.
