This thread was in speculation just a few minutes ago. I had posted in it. Now it is gone without a trace. Why? Who did this?

I said this a long time ago, when moderation was first being done in this forum: deletions are not cool. There has to be a trail of moderator activity for all to see.

No, he means this one.

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

It might be the one stevegee58 linked to. Who's to say, since the thread is no longer there.

Theymos can look at it and restore it, if it was wrongfully deleted.

Then why not move it to off-topic?

And there I was thinking there was nothing too insubstantial for Speculation.   Tongue

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

Thanks for the confirmation. May I ask why threads are deleted at all and not just locked, with a comment from the moderator to note who did it and why?

Grin

Since the thread contained only "lol" as message and "lol broken bot" in the title, I considered it spam. I'm not sure moving things like that to Off-Topic is good, as that would basically make it a trash forum.

Though maybe we do need a trash forum of some kind where insubstantial things/spam for fun go?
