Card did not work and was not tested before shipment, yochdog is not a person of his word and did not follow through with compensation.

Woah slow down. I've received dead cards from fellow forum members, but did not resort to calling them liars and scammers. Have you sent him a PM about this and tried to work it out?

Why does mining hardware comparison list 6870 as average 278.31Mhash and you say well over 600?

His is a 6870X2. It's a dual GPU card.

i dont think...no better than the 5970

Are you the Ralph Nader of video cards?

im a genius

Yes I have. If you want to do business with someone who there is no reasoning with, go ahead. If something goes wrong with the transaction even when its his fault, you are the only one who should be taking a loss according to him

Card did not work and was not tested before shipment, yochdog is not a person of his word and did not follow through with compensation.

Bullshit.

He got a full refund.  Bro is just butthurt because I would not issue the refund until I received the card back (shocking, I know)...nor would I compensate him for the exchange rate movement after the deal.

Nice try asshat.

lol didnt think YD would do this and ruin his rep. I would not have issued a refund till I received the card back to test for myself, so seems reasonable and if the exchange could have worked in your favor, would you issue a refund to him? I think that is a chance we all know and accept that change in rate, especially these last few weeks. YD is straight, but then again I dont have a dog in this fight.

This is PRECISELY what I asked him when he was demanding more BTC back than he paid me.

Regardless, I always deal straight with every deal I make.....you can ask any one of DOZENS of people on here.  Thanks for the vote of confidence Segabtc!

I'm not the one calling names, so I'm not the one who looks foolish. He has not fully refunded me, if you want to believe him there's nothing I can do about that. If you choose to believe someone based on their post count that's fine too. But I have a right to say what went down and let you know.

I feel that seeing as yochdog is a trusted member, there shouldn't be much problem shipping the card back in order to get the refund. Even if he wasn't the best trusted member, what would you have to lose shipping back a broken card?

My interpretation on this is, the buyer had buyer's remorse, and decided they wanted their BTC back + any profits they would have made had they sold high and bought back in low.

A guy has the right to get pissed when you call him a scammer if it is wrongful, so you actually do seem a bit foolish until some sort of proof is given. We aren't believing Yoch based on his post count, we are believing him based on his previous track record, as well as the fact that his defense sounds reasonable.

How, exactly, have I not fully refunded you?  I sent back the exact amount you paid me for the card, plus 1.18 BTC for return shipping.

Do i need to go pull out the PM's and line them up with the blockchain to really embarrass you?

What the fuck are you talking about dumbshit?  You recieved the refund over 48 hours ago.

Keep your weak attempt to slander someone way more credible than you off the forums.  Otherwise I will sic Bitlane on you.

Got what I was promised after I made this post. I didn't know it was cool to name call and threaten on these forums.

Regardlless he could have sent me a working 5970 very easily (since that was our agreement) but chose not to based on the fact that the exchange rate had fallen, and thus the monetary loss was all on me. I guess I shouldn't have expected that from a "hero" member. I didn't want more bitcoins as he said, I wanted a 5970. I fulfilled my end of our contract 100% yochdog did not.

I bought a 7970 from a forum member here, and when I got it, wasn't working properly. I talked to him, shipped it back, and got the exact same amount of BTC I sent him back. That's how it works. Sometimes cards get damaged in shipping (as mine did). You don't get to keep the card AND the coins. You get a refund for coins you sent, not the USD equivalent.

Dude,

You are seriously the biggest whiner I have seen on the forum.  When you asked if I could send another 5970, I politely told you no.....as I do not have any extra.  This is how trading works.....if you are not satisfied, replacement OR refund are the means of satisfaction.  At NO point did I ever mention the exchange rate for being the reason I would not send another, nor did it even enter my mind.  I transact in BTC, and the exchange rate after the sale is of no concern to me....I accept it is volatile going in.

Finally, after I informed you I would not be able to send another 5970, you said the following:

the fact that you think all the loss should be on me doesnt even make since if you were willing to negotiate and make it about half and half I would at least understand that you are being reasonable, but its still 100% your fault and none of mine

So in fact, you did indeed want more coins.....in direct contradiction to your statement above.

Now, do you want to keep going?
