At what phase of the investor cycle of emotions do you think we are at right now?

Hope. No relief until we break 31.89 USD

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

There is only one negative choice though

I made the assumption that we are somewhere in the upwards part of the cycle now.

In IRC it is all euphoria.

This spec forum is 99% euphoric, and has been for some time now.

You used to be able to use the (excessive) sentiment as an indicator to flip... Doesn't seem so this time around.

thats a good thread started here!!! i am coming from stock market and like this theoretical questions.

i thinks its not how the users are feeling which are a long time in this market right now. its important how the users are feeling which are new to bitcoin and those are the guys which are buying them. so why are they buying them? becuase they are euphoric or do the see some home for bitcoins? false euphoria.   i think we're seeing an "elastic bubble" that will have to get raped hard if it wants to get popped.

That's a good point! Also, the amount of other peoples coin that Pirate holds, that would otherwise be on the order book creating resistance, has allowed the price to move unimpeded.

If I'm having trouble sleeping knowing that Bitcoin trades 24/7 and someone might move the price substantially (up or down) by the time I wake up, would that be fear, or euphoria...?

Awesome band name... either "Eufearia" or the whole "Eufearia maybe" (sans question mark, gotta be 'hip')

There are several further degrees beyond euphoria:
- "It just goes up"
- "New normal / New paradigm"
- "Bull's nirvana"
- "This is going to end badly / Someone please stop it!"
- "WTF? LOL!"
- "I pwn the world!"
...
