Let's be clear about 1 thing first of all:
I have been a strong Pirate Savings & Trust proponent for the last 210 Days. As with many of you, I have put up with my fair share of FUD being spewed by the masses and added a rebuttal or 2 whenever I saw fit. I have never invested much, as in, never more than I was willing to lose.... although I felt it was enough to warrant some sort of service.
I have successfully withdrawn a grand total of 2165 BTC over 4 separate transactions, each of those 4 requests being filled within minutes. (1 of them being a 1900 BTC request)
Today, however....seems to be another story.
As of posting this, we are officially at the 3 hour mark for what is still, an absent withdrawal request of only 114 BTC.
I am not about to jump to any conclusions too quickly, but in my opinion, there are a few things that made First Pirate Savings & Trust great: - Fast Support. - Easy Access to Funds. - Communication.
With the above in mind, BITCOIN SAVINGS & TRUST has much to live up to.
Too Big To Fail - Not just for the USD Markets anymore.
I can only imagine that this post will lead to the forceful closure of my BTCST Account....but I have paid higher prices in the past, for the opportunity to be honest.
With Love, bitlane

He has 24 hours to process withdrawals, does he not?
To make a thread after only three hours is a bit extreme.

I don't know, does he ? To make a thread after only three hours is a bit extreme.
As I said, BITCOIN SAVINGS & TRUST has huge shoes to fill, left by FIRST PIRATE SAVINGS & TRUST......

That's uncalled for. The point being made was THEN vs. NOW...and nothing more.

I've changed emphasis. And let me break it to you, no it is not too big to fail. There is no too big to fail in Bitcoin. Actually the sooner it fails the better it is for Bitcoin.

Because he processes all transactions manually for security reasons. I would not be invested if he did it otherwise.

Whatever... I'm done.
In the grand scheme of things, I honestly never thought that $1500 could ruin my day so easily or PISS ME OFF so badly...

Were you using a PPT ? If so who with? Your withdrawal is only as fast as your middle man.
You do realize the amount of withdrawals he is facing is rather quite large at the moment. Any business faced with that amount of withdrawal requests would take some time to unravel.
I'm not saying his legitimate or not, i imagine if he survives the next few weeks its a good indication he was legitimate.
Making a thread after 3 hrs appears to be rather extreme.
( Fwiw, i withdrew cash from bitcoinmax and it was actioned within a couple of hrs )

I deal with Pirate directly and always have. When you get accustomed to a certain level of service that you experience, when Pirate actually WANTS your money......you come to expect the same UNLESS TOLD OTHERWISE.

Your 4 requests. Over what time period did you request them ? What % yield were you enjoying?
Do you think your alarm may have been early considering his withdrawals are manual and he may be sleeping or gone out shopping ?

I have made 20ish withdrawals, and while most were very quick, several were more than 3 hours...
