Hi all,

First off I do have a main account on here and am fairly active (but don't want my account here associated with this one for privacy reasons). Not to mention I'm a huge cryptocoin geek.

My final year degree project is about cryptocurrency adoption in retail and e-commerce, and I've produced a kind-of survey for you guys so I can add some quotes from this community in the report section - directly quoting forums isn't really "professional", what we write has to be quoted from publications written by other people (unless we've "conducted research" which is what I'm doing here). Pretty limiting, what a facade, right? Tongue. Anyway...

If you own an e-shop that either exclusively accepts cryptocurrency, or even just accepts it as one of many methods of payment it'd be awesome if you could get in touch with me via PM to answer a more fitting (and much shorter) set of questions regardless of how big or small you are. The reason I'm basing my project on digital currencies is down to my huge interest in them, and to push towards more widespread adoption hopefully even with regards to actual brick and mortar stores. The technology is all here (albeit in it's early stages of development admittedly), the world just needs educating. I honestly believe this technology can change the world, I just hope we can push it out and it can gain more momentum than the debt-driven war paper we currently have to use.

Anyway I'd really appreciate any input I could get here, especially if you're writing detailed answers. You could probably rush through it in under 5 minutes, but if you're providing written, detailed answers it'd probably take 10-15m.

Here's the link: http://[Suspicious link removed]/forms/f8WNE4LQfW
EDIT: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1aT0mSmsL6rwOs8sA34voNkQc-nxpPs1Ce4d6rXOc6V8/viewform?usp=send_form (not sure why the forum removed the short-link)

All my friends know about Bitcoin because of me, some (4 properly using it) are even saving and betting with it (because it really is easier once you know how). I've spoke to some local stores, 1 of which seems really interested in accepting it (unfortunately don't think I'll be able to set them up before my report deadline so I can document it for grades, but still...). So yeah, I'm not leeching from you guys for my grades, I believe in, and enjoy what I'm doing here. Smiley

Oh, if possible keep the deepweb connotations to a minimum if any of you onion-heads are reading Tongue. I'm sure you're all aware the media is using those connotations to scare people away from crypto, and I'm trying to help remove that stigma. I've even got reliable sources quoted proving that a higher percentage of USD is spent on contraband than that of Bitcoin (yep, not just because the USD is more widely used - size is factored in).

Anyway, any and all input is seriously appreciated.
Hope you can help me help crypto!  Cheesy

Peace

So you have already bitcointalk account and are long time user? And yet you say this: "First off I do have a main account on here and am fairly active (but don't want my account here associated with this one for privacy reasons)". What privacy reasons do you have on mind? I think it would not hurt you so bad that you disclose your real account, after all you don't want to scam anybody, right? You will got only prompt from people. And BTW, your link is broken. EDIT: seems like it is working now. But I would not click it anyway as long as you are on your newbie user account.

The name is ridiculous for starters (wish there was a way to change it). I'd rather professional people not see how much I gamble, how much I £££ I actually have floating up and down in the form of different crypto's etc. Wouldn't want my student loan privileges removed. EDIT2: Oh, and the ridiculous argument's I've been in on this forum.

EDIT: It's a Google forms link, mate. You can point to it and see it actually is going to the site it says in the bottom left of your browser.

Yeah sure Smiley.

But you ask for results and don't fill it in yourself, cheeky shitter haha.

EDIT: I've had 2 responses so far, which is great Smiley. Planning on getting ~70 hopefully. Going to post it on Reddit and a couple of altcoin forums, and IRC channels too. Then ask people in real life when I'm back at my home location (always moving around).

Thanks a ton to those two participants btw, really helpful.

I'm going to be showing off a lot of crypto-related stuff at careers fests in the UK btw, these results contribute to things like that - Which is all getting Bitcoin that little more mainstream publicity. Hopefully one day cryptocurrency won't be... "Unusual" you know. When that happens we'll probably be rich. Tongue

I'd be willing to pay 0.002 per response if it's got quite good quality written answers, maybe more for a really good response.

Cheers!
