Hey everyone.

I was just going through the Block Chain and noticed this old mate getting three pay outs in two days obviously solo mining. http://blockchain.info/blocks/176.28.50.95

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about solo mining and how to do it?
-Thankyou,
Merve.

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

you setup your bitcoind https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin
you point your miners to it
and ~325ghash to generate 3blocks/day at current difficulty Smiley

;;bc,calc 325000000
<gribble> The average time to generate a block at 325000000 Khps, given current difficulty of 2190865.9701029 , is 8 hours, 2 minutes, and 32 seconds

edit: re-read, over 2 days 1/2 that hashrate would do it Smiley
