Solo Mining

Hey everyone.

I was just going through the Block Chain and noticed this old mate getting three pay outs in two days obviously solo mining. http://blockchain.info/blocks/176.28.50.95

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me a little bit about solo mining and how to do it?

you setup your bitcoind https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Running_Bitcoin
you point your miners to it
and ~325ghash to generate 3blocks/day at current difficulty

edit: re-read, over 2 days 1/2 that hashrate would do it
