If you're looking to buy bitcoin with your currency from someone else
For example here's my step : ( you as buyer )

Buyer : find reputable escrow,
Seller : send the bitcoin as agreed to escrow
Escrow must confirmed that escrow received bitcoin from seller
Buyer : send your $ to seller
Once seller confirmed that seller has received $ from you
Escrow will release bitcoin for you

now can you tell me how to approach the escrow service provider and how to find whether the escrow service provider is also genuine or not. because he can also deny both buyer and seller after getting both side money and btc and runs away with it.

Its easy, find a trusted member of the community or have a look at this thread and choose an escrow, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0 . Many are free as well. I would trust escrows here up to 50 btc after that I wouldn't me much sure as escrow himself can scam, but for lower amounts if he does scam it will ruin his reputation.

Do you have found the seller yet? Normally  you and seller should reach agreement to pick up the  escrow before pming him to require his service.
