If you have an iOS device, you can download the NastyFans iOS app.  It has a Today View option to where you can see the Bitcoin price in your Today view.  Just drag down anytime you want to see the Bitcoin price.

I am only registered with Apple as a developer.  I wouldn't be able to write a single line of code for Android.  If an android developer ever steps forward, I would love to provide them with everything they need to build it.

Just keep in mind though if you dont see the # you like in the morning or it drops, just save the stress and check 1 week later and see where it is lol.

Usually its around the same price, so daily checks are really not much to tell unless you hear stories like greece.

I check the BTC about 5-6 times a day . It's obsessive behaviour & maybe a bit stupid but I can't help it. I wish I could just forget about the price & check it maybe once every couple of months but I can't help it
Hopefully all this time & effort will be worth it one day.

I have a free app on the phone called bitcoin ticker.  it is just a small display of a number with an indication of if the trend is up, down, or unchanged.  
every time I go to use the phone, the current bitcoin value is in my face.  very convenient.

Yup I use the Bitcoin ticker app too. It's fantastic, a great easy way to check the price wherever whenever.

Since about January 2014 I didn't find myself doing this.
It's just a natural impulse, I don't do it consciously, and I'm wondering if deep down my brain is finally hopeful again.

You are not the only one here ,buddy. We are all having that obsession with bitcoin. I do it all the time. I check for the btc price all throughout the day , and I'm very hopeful  it goes up. I check it like I check my messages. haha
