I am currently working together with a Kenyan friend on developing the Remittance Market. But to be able for competitive prices there needs to be a Market Maker with good prices.

The longterm idea is to build a p2p Banking system in Kenya that allows every person with a smartphone to provide banking system to others, competition will bring down prices. Currently in Kenya they already got a digital currency adopted called Mpesa. There are Mpesa Agent all over Kenya. So the goal empower people to become Bitcoin Agents and they earn a good compensation. There is no reason for Mpesa Agent not become a Bitcoin Agent as well as he will earn some additional income. The short term goal is to establish exchanges in the 4 mentioned countries to provide liquidity in the markets. With enough Fiat together with Bitcoin we can build our own remittance Market. Currency exchange in Kenya from one country to another is really expensive Bank charges between 5-20% fee. Freelance Bitcoin Agents are able to earn around 1-2% on their volume, which is comparable with the provision they get from Mpesa. I will try to collect more idea and integrate it all later to make it more readable.
