In a MMO, hopefully decentralized version of Minecraft, one could condition every action of every player by a proof-of-work.
There was even somebody who made a mod for minetest about Bitcoin:
[Mod] Bitcoins [v2.1] [Bitcoins]
http://forum.minetest.net/viewtopic.php?pid=87740
I've tested it in minetest 0.4.6 and once I got to a depth of -1000 at least I started finding some bitcent blocks...

Not that many bitcoiners who play minetest except DistroGeeks-MilesDyson? Version 0.4.6 is out. It's a very moddable free, libre open source game. You're losing out if you have not at least tried it! Cheesy

There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.
