Pirate unsurprisingly throwing in the towel. Investors getting back (?) their BTC, and naturally wants to cash out not only interests, but also their original investment due to the recent sharp increase in price. People who just recently bought in will panic and sell as well. Market will be very volatile for the coming days.

Never attempted a prediction before, so let's just hope I'm wrong. Smiley

The market usually does the opposite of big predictions like this, so hopefully more people keep predicting a crash due to the Pirate thing.  It's already been predicted in several other threads, so let's go!  Rally!..er, I mean, crash!

But everyone knows that the price will drop so why sell? Everyone keeps their coins and the price stays the same.

Some of us know that the price will stay the same so we are going to sell... but why sell if the price drops because people are selling Cheesy Speculations is guessing and there are three options right now: up, down or flat.

Disagree. A move like that would mean the end of the rally since it would trigger several trend following trading rules to cash out.

Have I gone bull? IDK I'm not buying because I can't think straight, but I doubt we have seen the last of this bubble.

+1. Price should get corrected earlier at ~$12 but can't because of the damn Gox bug.
We'll heading there now.

If you want to blame someone, blame Gox.

I'm not registered there, but we could do an outright bet here. If allowed ?

The statement I want to bet on is that Bitcoin will go below 12.0 before midnight (GMT Standard Time) Sunday 19th.

I will probably not make a huge bet, not much of a gambler these days. Wink

But if you quote me a bet price, I will consider to make a bet with you.

Obviously you should buy now at 12.9 and 14% more bitcoin.

mtGox last says 11.87 now.

Seems like the prediction was correct. I didn't expect it to be this fast though.

Too late for any bets I am afraid..

Now, the question is, how far down will we go ? Some people have mentioned 9 as a floor.
