LOL what? What 5,000 BTC hidden treasure are you talking about? I am pretty sure that is 100% BS.

Also these coins were made by someone who was laser engraving coins while they were claiming they were hand carved, so the controversy is going to put negative pressure on the value.

Not a sock puppet - proved that when i uploaded videos in Singapore and Vietnam:) https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBenyRXifFWstF19Pl-J-UA

Just decided to sell as I am aiming for Financial Independence/Early Retirement in 8 years and decided to minimize my life.

There is definitely some strange code on each coin - i used my paint correction microscope and found 2 numbers on the coin, no idea what they are - grid reference, gps number who knows, honestly I do not care - I plan on getting FI on my own.

Just decided to sell as I am aiming for Financial Independence/Early Retirement in 8 years and decided to minimize my life. About 80% of possessions I own are up for sale!

Saying you don't care, does that mean you don't belive it to be true Wink

Do you know the true identity of woodcutter? Skype contact, phone, address? You received 2 of the peices maybe getting a 3rd so are you willing to provide evidence the guy is real or has access to that much BTC?

I love the art but seriously skeptical of the claims. Both the sudden absence and horrible trust rating throw off any truth to the tressure.

Of course you already have the info needed from your coins to meet up access information in regards to the tressure. What would stop you from working with the other recipients to find a "tressure"

Essentially your just selling this as art since all important information from the 9 existing coins has been harvested and most likely colaborated with the others.

Nope - I just don't care as I have set a goal to retire by 40 and that goal does not include hunting for treasure. To reach my goal of ER, I need to get rid of a lot of things that really i do not need (a family member recently diagnosed with cancer made me rethink my life goals) and focus on my goal of becoming financially independent in 8 years so I can spend more time with my kids and to travel more.

I do know his name, address, skype name etc and am quite definite he has a lot more than 5000BTC in his possession but will definitely not share them here - well not til my coins are sold anyway Wink

The creator of that topic has -324 trust. I'm sure we can trust that there is an actual 5000 BTC treasure. Also, he claimed that the coins were hand carved but they turned out to be laser-cut so those wooden coins aren't that valuable.

I find it ironic, that first we had WoodCollector who sold these coins at a hyped price, and then we have people who bought it trying to sell at an even greater price.

This is not a proof, WoodCollector should give us something will prove at 100% that he "hided" those bitcoins in those hand carved coins. If he will not prove his thought then as Quickseller said "I am pretty sure that is 100% BS". However I remember that WoodCollector wanted to create a new forum with 250k dollars (if I remember correct) but where is this forum ?

Also these coins were made by someone who was laser engraving coins while they were claiming they were hand carved, so the controversy is going to put negative pressure on the value.

WoodCollector is now trying to scam a bit more money out of his remaining shitcoins that no one will buy by making up some elaborate fantasy of a worldwide treasure hunt. He thinks he's Dan Brown or Nicholas Cage in National Treasure or something. See his original thread here:

As many of you caught on to 4 months ago when some info leaked on the forum There was a hidden secret about the 10 wooden coins i made for 2015. Today you find out what was worth $1,000 to protect.

I have always been a fan of hidden treasure movies and the concept of something being on this planet that nobody has found that is worth enough to change someones life. My favorite movies have pretty much always been the Da Vinci Code and the National Treasure movies. Over the years as life has passed me by i had often thought about my legacy. Making my mark on history. Inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto himself and the loads of money i saved re-stocking my warehouses this year buying wood from you all directly i decided that now was my time.

Op, can you elaborate or clarify what you meant by the following:

If I am honest, I found out that Woodcollector was a liar and a thief and decided I do not want his pieces any more, no matter how rich he may be and famous. I was getting other pieces made by him but could no longer trust him as he did something very sneaky and also failed to ship a piece i ordered from him.

Yea I saw and reported that thread for being misfiled. For some reason he thought him creating a thread should have been considered "news".

I am pretty much 100% that this is complete BS and I honestly find it hard to believe that the OP (or WC) seriously think that anyone will actually believe this.

I don't have stats on how many physicals that have been loaded with 5 btc has ever been created but I somewhat doubt that there are 1,000

WoodCollector just want to promote his Art Gallery and trying to make a name for himself.  No proof of 5000btc or whatever.

I will offer 2 BTC top for the black swan wood coin.
