You bastard! I spit coffee all over my laptop. I thought he was Amir in that dress. Reading the word chakra in the description made me recall when I used to attend Unity in Nashville, then later in Chicago. ~Bruno~

So he was sick and cuddled with a woman. I never said he was a god. Sorry to break it to you, but none of your spiritual leaders are more than human. The description really says it all: "Why do they have to hide & act in this ways when its normal for humans to be like one ". Those who try to convince you they are more than human are just exploiting you.

You are probably right, but this physicist says we will be immortal if we can make it through this present phase... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GooNhOIMY0

He has matured quite a bit since then, and so have I. I still watch a video a few times a year to see what he's up to. Sometimes he does have some good insight into the human condition, but like anyone who claims to be special, he must be taken with a large dose of salt.

That was about two years ago and he was acquitted of all charges. But not until after the media smeared the crap out of him and then didn't report on the results of the investigation. He's not perfect, but anyone in his position has to learn a lot about the human condition in order to survive. He's not really anything special, but he has quite a lot of knowledge of vedic scriptures and can sometimes explain that wisdom better than I can decipher myself since I don't really understand the language past a few words/phrases.

It doesn't sound like he means Bitcoin in the context of what he says, but rather something that's centrally issued controlled by a benevolent ( ) world government.

I took a few years off after undergrad. I graduated in '08. I got interested in yoga when I was 19 and came across him shortly after that. At the time he was pretty much the only person with knowledge of the Vedic scriptures that spoke English and provided free discourses.

Have you read this: I Am That - by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj I found it fascinating, mind bending and worthwhile - nothing to do with Bitcoin except in the sense that being open to this may prepare you to being open to many things. I tend to agree with the Amazon reviewer who states, Nisargadatta Maharaj's "I AM THAT" is the last spiritual book you'll ever need to read.

I recently purchased the album of MC Yogi, which has a song by the same name. Check him out on YouTube if you might like a combination of traditional Indian music and hip hop.

Bayes' rule is far more insightful than anything these spiritual dudes ever came up with. And he came up with it as a way to win more bets. On the other hand, the t-test and that whole field of stats was first developed to make sure Guinness wasn't sending out crappy batches of beer... then it got perverted.

I made a text file from scanning the book. I don't know where it went. I'm sure it's on some drive around here somewhere. I was originally loaned the book at a retreat center about 14 years ago and later bought it after returning the loan. I never did read it on screen much and so I expect having a physical copy to read is better anyway. Will check youtube. Thx. Not a big Hip Hop fan but have found some good goa trance music there. edit: Ganesh is Fresh - fun, actually a blend of hip hop I'm enjoying. Seems there's lots of Sri Nisargadatta on youtube. I never thought of looking for that before.

The Upanishads begin with the statement that matter is energy. It took scientists until Einstein to make the same claim.
