@ Hippie Tech

You are trying it again after few months ?

Be more specific, from which link did you downloaded this wallet.

1. It's known schema now, some long-time user posting quotes in forum with links to wallet of coins or some other binaries,

2. Then after some time he get hacked (weak password) or doing it intentionally, those links in quotes are replaced with similar wallets or other infected software, then fun begins ...

One time I was getting fooled this way also, but quickly realised what was done, those binaries have often different size than original, process can't be killed (some warning appears) if you kill it, system will shut down which is better option than be infected, check also task scheduler there are planned some starting wallet infected task in the future (delete those tasks),  delete restore points after infection time or use some of point before infection to restore system ... use some tolls like : malwarebytes, superantivirus, adwcleaner ...

I do not understand very well what happens Ironhorse, it's best to be patient until the Dev solve it.

I always use the OP or the official site when downloading clients. In this case, I used the OP's link.

I did my research. I just had to click on this "Trust" button below your profile picture. What I found made me laugh Cheesy ! I've never seen so many red trusts ! You try to resurrect your first scam that claim there is a problem on the wallet ? There's none. That's it.

But this is not a joke ...

"Bittrex ‏@BittrexExchange  18h18 hours ago
Last chance for the developers of these coins to contact support@bittrex.com before we remove their markets. ASN AXIOM TRK DUB GAIA"

"Hosting Expired!
Hosting for this blockchain has expired since...

This blockchain explorer is now in the grace period, and will eventually be taken offline."

... and over a month has passed when you said that you will take care of it.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/asn/

Chainz not paid, looks like abandoned ship.

I'll look at Chainz to solve the problem. I can assure you that Ascension isn't an abandoned ship. Backwork has been done. I now focus on the physical coins since it's what the community want. In 1 month max, the production will start. And she isn't at this moment, this will say that I'm unable to run Ascension I'll give the project to someone else.

Great

Hi,

Is there still a dev for the coin?  If so, please email support@bittrex.com and let us know what's going on with the coin. We'd like to keep it listed if there is still active development.

Thanks,
Bill

It looks like Ascension Takeover (let's be clear, he's not a dev) has woken up a little late and now is seeking for a free block explorer, chainz wasn't expensive and was properly taken care of ...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1254309.msg13007566#msg13007566

what's wrong with http://cryptobe.com/chain/Ascension ?

Sorry to say but times when you do not develop a software for coin and only create some media buzz is over, I would like to see a picture of physical coin that do not pass the test of quality, i bet that accidentally there's no any of it.

Yes, that's true. I'm not a developer at all, and I don't even know how to compile a wallet, but a project that have a bad developer is better than one that have none and which is dying. I was not aware of CryptoBE.
