Lost some BTC30 by investing in BTCT.co / Litecoinglobal. Damn it... even now my entire Bitcoin holdings are worth much lower than the amount which I lost.

I had purchased 30 stocks of BTCT at BTC1 each. The exchange closed down and the stocks became worthless. But never lost a penny in wallet robberies and hacks.

I've never lost any BTC or been scammed out of any. I did manage to get ravaged repeatedly on alts. My record was Mazacoin which went from 20,000 satoshis to 20 while my attention was elsewhere but it was about 0.15 in total and it made me chuckle. Other alts have left me in the black now.

Never lost much to a scam as well. Of all that I recall just lost once to a full member who took some money for WMZ first, and he ended up scamming for like 0.02 BTC. Didn't really expect a full member to do that, but thats he played it. Otherwise its easy to be not scammed, and specially with using BTC precautions should be taken.

I have lost 5 bitcoin on a dice site Roll Eyes, and for this reason I have stopped to gamble because it is so risky (oh yes I have also lose 0.05 btc on a ponzi scheme, few months ago). However I have already recovered my loss, with some online works.

I've lost a few on inputs.io. Also I've lost around (potential) 30 in SBC. I was planning on selling on when the spike happened. Due to some bugs caused by my ISP, I had no internet. Didn't bother to rush somewhere else. By the time that I had access it plummeted.

I have not lost that much from my actual investments, all in all, I m in profit. The bigger problem is what I could ve made if I played my cards the right way. So this is a way an opportunity cost of my crypto decision. I have missed a few really nice opportunities, these situations where you think that to do, you select one option and it brings you nothing while the second option would ve brought me 10 BTC, 20 BTC, etc.

I have lost some through depreciation, actual bitcoins lost is a different thing though.
I lost 0.8 BTC when gox when to hell, though it is not impossible that one day I get a percentage of that back.

I lost some alts when MCXnow screwed everyone over the first time, but otherwise I have been lucky.

I have traded about 5BTC with someone who later went rogue, and I invested in Neo and Bee, but sold out at a slight loss way before he ran off with the investors money!

It's an adventure alright!

Haven't lost that much in BTC. Lost 0.02 in bitcoins because of gambling, but that's all that I can remember. In trading, I always profit (even though it's only a small gain, I still treat it as a gain, because why not?) from alts, especially those that I think were only pump and dump coins. The last pump and dump coin that I took part on was BlackCoin, and I must admit that I made a pretty good profit from it.

I got lucky when PB Mining went down as I was all ready in profit there and did not buy any new contracts after my initial purchase. I dod lose about 80 USD in BTC Trader and another 125 USD in bit mining company. Needless to say I don't cloudmine or invest any more. Things could have been worse but I am always cautious and never risk a lot in any one thing.

Never chase losses. That money is gone and all you end up doing is increasing your losses over time. Good luck either way.
