Being a StarBucks employee can be great Wink.
So I'm selling giftcard money for 50% of what they are.
Example given: 50$ for 25$ and such.

No, not really. If I had stolen credit cards I wouldn't sell shit for 50%.

Are you selling virtual giftcard money or real plastic preloaded giftcards?

"No, not really" is a yes.

I tried to make a deal with the user wherein I asked him to send the balance of 10$ first but he said he doesn't do for an amount less than 50$.
On agreeing upon 50$, he did not wish to go first even though he is a new user and I already have more trust score than him. He was against escrow too..

This is what he messaged me

I won't risk losing my job for 25$. You'll have to go first. Also escrows dont do 25$.
My address is: 16aEMVbRhEUjRjQm9vjqhrXt2hhbymS5A4

Send 25$ and tell me when done.

Escrow services generally do not have a lower limit as to how little they will escrow for. That message is a tail tell sign of a scammer. The OP probably doesn't even have carded gift cards
