Not sure how you're gonna invest in "clam" but make sure you wear a condom

It is hard to say what will happen if you buy CLAM and hold it. I think it mostly depends on what happens to Just-Dice. I consider investment in any alt-coin to be extremely risky. Some people profit, but most people lose.

If you buy CLAM and you gamble it, then eventually you will lose it all. Strictly speaking, that wouldn't be risky because you know exactly what is going to happen.

It is safe in the sense that dooglus is very trustworthy, and it is very very unlikely he will scam your CLAM.
But, clam/btc price is not stable, and you have to face the risk of clam price dropping (together with the possibility of clam price rising).

your 2btc will just make a little % in the total BR of the site. So, I think its not worth it.

+1. Buy CLAM with BTC is not a real "investment" but something like trading. I may engagé myself in some BTC/CLAM trades to earn some profit, but only a tiny % of my portfolio. Maybe a more safe buy was putting his BTC on the original "clam":

Where can you buy this CLAM anyway, only at that poloniex? I guess it's for short time holding isn't it? Smiley
Why would a casino make its own altcoin btw, I still don't get it...

For regulatory reasons it is useful.
I don't think JD made CLAMS either, I think they picked it out to use on JD as the alt of choice.
Dooglus didn't feel comfortable having so many Bitcoin in his hands, so decided to use a low value Alt instead (correct me if I am wrong)

Dooglus is trustworthy and the returns are pretty consistent, it is still very much a trade though, it could be worthless in the near future, no one knows.
If you have bitcoin sitting unused, you could do worse imo.

It is just made by the a casino. Clam's price movement is largely impacted by the JD. I wouldn't recommend to invest a lot to it. But if you believe it, you can invest a little.

Are there any good altcoins to invest in for mid term then? Except paycon of course which is superior even over paycoin  Tongue
