A transaction - or even a new block - is not the big factor though. In my experience the biggest impact is another full node syncing. My node typically hovers at 60-150 KiB/s upstream, but spikes way over 600 KiB/s from time to time. Usually only for a few hours at max. This happens when I run updates or when another node is connected for snycing. This impact will probably smaller as more and more nodes run 0.10.0 and can sync more efficiently from different nodes.
As you can see from the stats it never used more than 200 GB per month. Its connected @100Mbit/s and I limited the number of connections to 50. A higher connection speed and more connected nodes will probably result in more traffic. Maybe zvs can tell more about that as they run several full nodes and might have more insight on this.
Any transaction -- or possibly fresh block -- is not the actual big element although. If you ask me the most important effect is an additional entire node syncing. The node usually hovers at 60-150 KiB/s upstream, although spikes technique above 600 KiB/s from time to time. Typically just a couple of hours at optimum. This kind of takes place after i manage revisions or perhaps when an additional node is linked with regard to snycing. This kind of effect will likely smaller sized because increasingly more nodes manage 0. 10. 0 and may sync more effectively from distinct nodes.Since you can see from the gambling the item never employed in excess of 190 GB every month. Its linked @100Mbit/s and also My spouse and i constrained the number of contacts for you to 50. A greater network pace plus much more linked nodes will likely result in far more targeted visitors. Perhaps zvs can easily say to far more about that as they manage several entire nodes and also could have far more information with this.
Esp. the bolded part makes me believe that this is some sort of account farming bot.
