I'm looking for some fans as well, have a WTB for 120mm quality case fans.

Glad I found your post as I was somehow under the impression that the fans from the S3 might make a good replacement for the stock fan in the S5. I've got a couple S5's and the noise is just unbearable. I noticed I was agitated and had a very, very short fuse when they were running.

How loud are the S3 fans? What are you looking at or have you looked at for replacement? What CFM / RPM / 3 or 4 pin / etc are you considering? Maybe we can share resources. I luckily just had a buddy drop off a box with ~10 fans, from Scythe to San-Ace fans. Think I'll be able to pirate what I need for push pull config with my S5s.

I've gone a different route with powering mine, really want to get the damn thing setup and running. Anyway, I'm thinking maybe we can share resources or info. Because either people don't like me, or there aren't many fans for sale, or both.

I've got a bunch of quiet 120mm fans, but I'm not sure they're going to push enough air to cool an S3...

I'm interested in what you have by way of 120mm fans.

You really are better off just downclocking your S3 to 200Mhz so it hashes at 400Gh/s and runs very quiet then you are buying 2 expensive fans.

In the long run ,its the cheaper alternative for the S3.

Well.... OP is looking for min 2 max 20 so he's likely got 10x S3's. With that much going on it may be that he is better served with fan replacements. And if you don't have any for sale, maybe a suggestion would help.

Don't think anyone is going to put 2x Noctua's in an S3, but maybe. Same time, a pair of $8-$10 each Corsair or Cooler Masters would likely work. And if he bought a lot of 20 fans, might get a pretty good deal.

I'm interested.
