When you use the Amazon link http://tinyurl.com/bitcointogiftcards simply email me bitcointo (at) gmail (dot) com with the details of the item and the date you purchased it to claim %1 of your purchase back in bitcoins!

Edit: changed the link the old one was broken.

Introducing http://bitcoinrebate.com community toolbar with links to most amazon sites with the ability to claim straight from the toolbar.

It has all your favourite links embedded.

whats the hook? I assume you are getting affiliate money, and giving back.

Are there items or accounts that don't qualify?

I pay in USD, you pay in bitcoins, is there a conversion rate?

I buy all the time from amazon, I'll try your link next time.

When I click on your tinyurl link I end up on www.amazon.com.
Is this normal?
Maybe your offer is only valid for those in US?

I think the idea is that using the link tells amazon how you got there so he gets credit.

There is no hook I am putting my ideas into practice that I have come up with - putting my money where my mouth is and drinking my own kool aid so to speak  Cheesy. I get a small commission when you use the link which covers the payout to you. You send me the proof that you purchased something to qualify . Because you know exactly which item and how much it was I can be certain it was you who bought it.

The rate I pay is the one at http://www.bitcoinwatch.com/. So if you spend $100 you would get approximately 16 btc .

Yes the link is for the US. I can get Canada and the UK if anyone would like to use those as well.

Some countries have different rules on what Amazon allows you to get shipped. In Australia for instance we can only get books and a few other items.

I will try it out next time I buy something at amazon.

FYI, I don't mean 'con job' when I say 'hook', just how does it all work. I get it and will try it out soon.

Could you give those of us who cannot or do not wish to install the toolbar the URLs, please?

Cheers,

I think amazon policies are against paid referrals.
did you get special permission, or just keep quiet.
most CJ affiliates are against this, but unless you have some other way of driving huge amouts of traffic, you can't make much money off it.

dealspl.us, fat wallet and similar sites are good, but they tend to strip your refferal code and put their own in.

feel free to visit opticbit.com, let me know if you do some action the would get money for me, I'll send some BTC to you after its deposited.

I started this to bootstrap the bitcoin economy. I was the first one to sell amazon cards or offer bitcoin rebates.
