I have heard lots of suggestions about this Virwox but as someone who has never heard of Second Life or any online world is this any good to us?? I had heard someone say something about starting a new account and buying money in there but then because the account was new getting stuck there etc.

Anyone got a simple explanation in a couple sentences about the benefits of Virwox and is it any good if we have never used a Second Life or understand anything they are talking about on that site?

Used BlockChain.Info another couple times to convert GBP to BTC with Barclays PingIt and it's just amazing. Did a conversion for £150, then £80 and the second £80 was done in less than half an hour!

Does http://bitcoin.de/ not satisfy the same market?

Virwox.com should work for you
I don't see NMC on there

VirWox has only SLL/BTC and the fees are pretty high.
NMC is traded at www.vircurex.com and www.BTC-E.com

other european exchanges i have been successfully using are

www.bitcoin.de
and
www.bitcoin-24.com

then there's www.mtgox.com but they require ID confirmation if you move "fiat currency" which was putting me off for now
