hi, noob question ! what is correct name for Positron .conf (node file) ? positron.conf or tron.conf or post.conf or works all ?

It defaults to look for "positron.conf" (unless you specify something different using a command line option).

Anyone want a windows qt compiled from the git repo?

Careful downloading executables from strangers on the internet!
All I did was fix a few things so it would actually compile. There are a bunch of files included in the archive which you may or may not need as dependancies for Positron-qt.exe.

http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=35420993383428426931

If you stake with it, donations are welcome  Wink PKgbYbcHBcKNsrsKKV8vjBfq5UcW5VEo7J

Again, all I did was compile the latest code on the repo with a couple fixes applied to get it to build the Qt wallet. (just sayin' cause I don't want to be held responsible for network issues or anything due to the version update)

So are you inferring that this compile you've done rectifies the issue currently being experienced with the Windows wallet?

It should. It is built from the same code that, according to several pool admins (suchpool, suprnova) is what they updated to several hours ago. Apparantly bittrex as well according to suchpool admin.

EDIT: https://i.imgur.com/O2bFfT6.png is a screen shot of the wallet (I think it has a new design, don't remember if that was released or not).

cool, let me know if it works. I wasn't able to test it on a non dev machine (this is the reason I included all those files along with it  Tongue )

Okay thanks NSCrypto. I've just installed it (feeling very exposed though....only that you seem genuine enough from the way you've written your posts have I decided to risk it. What part of the world do I need to travel to if all my coins suddenly disappear? Ha!)

It seems to be running okay. Here are three 'getinfo's done in quick succession that show it has caught up to the current block (I think)

Unfortunately I'm back to "not staking because you don't have mature coins" so I guess will have to wait the 8 hours (or 7 or 6 or 9 or whatever it is) to get staking again.

Canada  Tongue

You shouldn't have to wait again, coins will age as long as they haven't moved on the blockchain.

EDIT: https://bittrex.com/Status shows the block that bittrex is currently on if anyone wants to check if they're on the same chain (or a different chain that just happens to be at the same block number for some strange reason lol)

Okay thanks. Still saying they're not mature. Hopefully what you've said is correct and it will start staking again soon.

I'll let you know how it goes (and I'll send you the first stake too if all goes well!)

Well, I'm in BC so theres only about 13k kilometres of pacific ocean in the way ;P

Just tested wallet with bittrex and I received the coin I sent to my wallet.

So when you have more coins your weight will increase faster right?

Not really, I think if you have more coins you just have a better chance of staking them, though I may be mixing up age and weight (it's late here, 4am)

damn, I think I saw something like that a while ago. Can't remember when/where :/

EDIT: I have a feeling there may be a memory leak, but I could be wrong about that. Is there any other error information given?
