Nope, I wouldn't call it a trustworthy or a reliable list. The only name I could recognize in the first list was coinmx, and that might have been with something fishy or just hearing it somewhere. I would suggest not relying on that list.
I would rather suggest the list here: http://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/111914/look-most-popular-bitcoin-exchanges.asp

i know that they usually process sepa in 1 day, kraken can go as low as 8 hours(tried it personally many times), circle is faster yes, around two hours

although none of them is instantaneous

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Category:Exchanges

There is background and information on exchanges if you click as well. The Bitcoin wiki really is great!

Add in Poloniex, it's in my opinion, nowadays the best out there for crypto->crypto trading.

Hey there, I'm the site operator. This URL might help you better: http://bitcoinx.io/exchanges/?tag=united-states

The one you posted has both wallets and exchanges listed. The one I just posted is exchanges only, and in the US. You can also check the top highest rated exchanges on the right side of the page. I hope this helps!

If you are the site operator, then you should update the list with legit options. Options like Kraken and Bitstamp should be on top of that list, however I see them no where on the first page.

I don't think you understand how it works. The site is community driven, meaning we don't "rank" the bitcoin exchanges. Users do. We find all the exchanges out there, vet and list them, and then the community can come together and rate and review them. Many of these sites are known actually, just doesn't seem like you know them very well. Obviously there are more popular ones than others.

And community driven means that no exchange can buy top rankings and stuff. I've myself used bitcoinx.io for looking up wallets

This is correct. We do not under any circumstances allow for exchanges (or wallets) to buy rankings. We also do not accept advertising from any exchanges or wallets. Anything else is possible, but due to conflict of interest we do not allow it.

The listed services here are not even all exchanges. Some are wallet, some are block explorer. The exchanges listed here are unknown too...

I personally prefer to trade on www.LocalBitcoins.com and www.100bit.co.in. The advantage of the later over the former is that, we do not need to keep our fund stored in site wallet and we can trade alt coins too...

do not rely on any statistics! Before funding your account on any exchange, make your own research. No statistics will be able to refund your money Sad
