I think I recall someone saying that there's a queue because of the demand and you'll get your freebie as they work their way down the line.

If by "Bitcoin street faucet" you mean the "Bitcoin faucet" which appears to be empty right now, it's run entirely by donations, and thus they're not obligated to give you anything.  Think of it as a soup kitchen, not a welfare program.

EDIT again: the faucet helped get me started with BTC, so I sent in a coin.  Should be good for 50 gifts @ 0.02 BTC apiece, assuming someone doesn't scam them as they've done in the past.

Looking at the site, people are claiming multiple coins per address. Is there a way to report the abusers?

the faucet helped get me started with BTC, so I sent in a coin.

Just sent one as well - maybe there should be some kind of notification system for potential donors if it runs dry. Luckily it seems to pop up in the forum pretty quick Smiley

Soo... mining for cell phone numbers by promising to pay 2 bitcents?

Selling out to advertisers shows you respect neither yourself nor the rest of us.

No thanks. My cell phone number is gloriously spam-free and I intend it to stay that way.

http://faucet.bitcoin.st is a bit of a fail anyway - they asked me to enter a 8 digit verification code... but the one they sent was 9 digit (starting with 100xxxxxx) - which means it failed verification. They've run out of 8 digit numbers! Heh.

That could be your issue Mabsark?

I feel left out, all I got was a code and no ad.  maybe I've built a tolerance to ads and cant see them, just double checked, no add.

txt came from south africa (+27 83 293 xxxx)  are these cheap to get in Africa, and is it cheap to send/recieve?

If i start getting spam i expect it's gonna be easier to deal with them using GV

Since S/N aren't public, you can't google it or whatever to find if it's real, so all i have to do to profit is to find a free S/N generator...
