We didn't want to create a new coin because.


1. We wanted to use the Bitcoin Blockchain because we belive in Bitcoin as a protocol and counterparty as a top layer on Bitcoins Blockchain
2. We needed an easy distribution way of dividends, hence counterparty was the ideal option due that it incorporates this functionality on its Counterwallet.
3. Forestry projects are a long term investment with good economic benefits, but we have to be careful with the costs and expenses in order to maintain a good rentability. So, Counterparty was the more secure, less expensive and more reliable option.

10.000.000 WOODSHARES at $0.007 per Hectare (70.000 USD) - I'm no Timber expert but how will this ever become profitable? What is the average revenue on 1 Ha of Land if chopped now with 20+ Year old trees on it?

The expected profit for an Hectare in 10~11 years is $211.145 USD. Also, the historical average increase on the price of the wood is about 11% annual, meaning that each day the physical asset is growing in value.

We are working on divulgation, rising funds, the DCO Model and also searching for the lands.

Even if this is a long term project it requires an everyday work. WS project is growing slowly but steady.

Is not dead, is hard cause we are not trying to pump a coin.

It's a project in wich the tokens have real representation on comercial timberlands and the token price grows as the same time as the trees,
because at the end, with the last fell, we distribute the dividends with all the woodshare holders.

So the room for volatility is not that big.

TL;DR: WS is not a pump and dump kindda token.

3. Carbon Management SAS - (Carbon Bonds)
4. Paisajismo creativo SAS - (Labour for the project)

So yes, you can say woodshares is an agricultural bussines.
