What about the other direction (money from bank to Dwolla)? I tried this a couple weeks ago and it took a few days.

I know that wells fargo takes for ever sending or receiving usually the amount of time they specify, so like when Im sending money to my bank account it literally takes 3-4 days and receiving takes 2-3

six freakin' days since I initiated a xfer to Mt Gox via Dwolla and STILL my funds aren't available. Meantime, BTC has gone up over 15%!    I know it was a 3 day weekend, but JESUS CHRIST i'm bleeding profits! >:-(

Mtgox is a bit overwhelmed at the moment.  He's hiring staff, but it will take a while before they are all ups to speed.  I recommend purchasing MTGUSD via #bitcoin-otc next time.  There are plenty of people who send money to the exchange just to sell it.  There will be a small premium (a few percent), but it gets you bitcoins quicker.  Also, if you have funds in your Dwolla account, transfers done correctly only take a few minutes.

Mark I sent you an e-mail yesterday regarding a withdraw. It's been 6 days and I've not received my funds, haven't heard from dwolla.

I withdrew a similar amount one day prior to this troublesome withdraw and it took only HOURS to get to me.

Took about 2 hours (and a 2% increase in BTC price) for me today. that's a major improvement over last time.

What are your normal business hours I sent my Dwolla deposit to mtgox over 6 hours ago?  Are you running on Japan's business hours or some other location?

I sent a wire xfer yesterday afternoon straight to MtGox and it was in my account this morning. Of course I had to pay $50 and I still had to buy BTC at over 14$ a pop, but still, that's 3X as fast as the Dwolla route. of course if BTC goes down for a few days, I would have been better off going the cheap Dwolla route.
