Thanks for the warning. We should always be wary of the links we are clicking, should download any strange file, especially the .exe, .rar file from any strange websites.

Thanks for the warning Marco, I hope cointelegraph puts a small statement which warns us to download anything related to them. Many newbies fall for these types of scamms.

Jeez too many BTC related websites or services has been hacked, someone should really start some kind of "Internet Security task force".

I don't think too many are hacked.
Just see the last phishing attempt attack against coinbase, NOBODY fell for it!
You can vertify it by checking the deposit address.

The only online casino on which i won something. I made 17mBTC from 1mBTC in like 15 minutes.  This is not paid AD!

Obviously bitcoins are not kept away from fraud tentative. As it is worth money, we will see those attacks often.

Luckily the bitcoin community is "technologically advanced" and would probably stay away from those simple attack like phishing or malwares.

Just stay aware, and be careful with the suspicious things.

The main point is to set secure passwords, have updated antivirus and don't open random .exe files.
Also don't fall for unvertified offers that look too good to be true.
