Hi guys I'm new to SCRYPT mining, and I was wondering out of these 3 miners what to use on a daily basis for some kind of net profit (more on a month to month). I don't plan on making big money, but just something here and there to get me into cryptcurrency.. again! I also found cloud mining or "multi-coin" pools, I couldnt find much information about them.

This is the software im talking about, ive used all three below. Ive realized that the bfg and cg miners work well, but a lot of power is needed. the CPU miner works well too... but you would need a farm of 10,000 computers to make money lol..

1) CG-miner v4.9 (win32): http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/4.9/cgminer-4.9.0-windows.zip
2) BFGminer: http://www.butterflylabs.com/upload/drivers/software/Bfgminer-CustomBuilt-23June2014.zip
3) Pooler's CPU-miner v2.4.1 (mirror): https://infotomb.com/q9mzk.zip

Thank you in advance for all your help! BTC

This isn't the proper place for this post, I think you meant to post it in the 'Beginners and Help' Section. Don't make another post though, someone will likely move it there. Those three programs are each ideal in a different circumstance: CGMiner if your using ATI Gpu(s), BFGMiner if your using Nvidia Gpu(s), and CPUMiner if your using the CPU(generally specific to some coins). At this point it is difficult to make money mining though...

Ok well its understood what hardware requirements are needed, but what is the most profitable out of the 3 Ive posted. Ive been using CgMiner for a bit, and I haven't seen any kind profitability. And why is it that mining today is dead? If so, then whats done to make BTC? Thank you.

it varies on the coin and difficulty.   low difficult scrypt coins can be mined with cpuminer but as the difficult gets higher, cpuminer poops out.. and that even with a newer cpu..  is what i have noticed ... and on bfg and cg ... depends on what version the cpu mining is not in the code anymore??  and gpus and asic is now supported..  and depending on hardware minus the cpu support is what you would finally would forced to choose..

and i almost forget..  which of the 3 will gain you the most profit???  all ....if you knew where, when and how to use them at on merge and on multi coin pools..  i would recommend cex.io becuase you can learn , mine and trade with btc with multi scrypt coins that you can mine .. and i mine x11 dash on the cpu..  Smiley
