The launch got cancelled yesterday due to thunder-clouds.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Successful as always.

This could just as well carry passengers (in the dragon capsules)

So, now that we're pretty much going to space with a US company, with rockets with everything made in the US, I think we're in a better position.

They say they are going to attempt carrying people at 2017, and with their record, which is decidedly better than BFL's record I think they'll get it done.
