What did he ever do but EPIC FAIL at wardenclyffe? LOL Tesla's million-dollar folly on a polluted lot (sure its cleaned up fully. Sure.) for only $1.6mil, what a deal.
It's too bad you're so stupid or misinformed.

I think we'll need a poll of all the suggestions, but this one is the best one

I think we'll need a poll of all the suggestions, but this one is the best one I realize having all the options at first would have been impossible, but for someone who just wants the numbers relative to this idea in particular, a simple "Yes" or "no" option would have been keen.

Pirate, I don't know if you are going to pay back peoples money, and I don't really want to start another BS conspiracy/debate thread.... lord knows there are plenty circulating right now, but if you are a ponzi, and do run off with the $, at least buy this first.

Oh hell yes!!! When The Bet is over, vote for this Epic Epicness! Since TPTB destroyed Telsa, it would be a thing of cosmic beauty if Bitcoin's gifts to the world 1)destroy banksters and 2)memorialize Tesla. Meanwhile, everyone watch this tube of the Doctor Who theme being played on Tesla coils. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdrqdW4Miao

I think we missed the boat No! It's still going! The 1.6k$ is only for buying the land. Any extra funds will go towards actually making a museum. Have a look here: http://www.indiegogo.com/teslamuseumOh I notice he's put the 33k perk to "sold out" even though there's only 2 claims, but I bet we can still convince him when we do an awesome donation

He hasn't been contacted yet by anyone I know. But I think he might be willing to make an exception when we muster up a huge donation.

Tesla was the man! However, his system would have rendered radios unusable and there is no practical way to meter the energy broadcast.
You think that they would be unable to find a way to meter wireless energy consumption? I should have used the word "was" rather than "is". Today we would establish a computer connection to meter the energy. At the time the technology was more like radio. So just like radio, the station has no idea who is listening or even how many are listening. This was not an issue for Tesla, he believed in free energy for the masses. if I remember correctly he was a communist.

If I remember correctly, that was the reason the project got upended in the first place - the investors that were backing it didn't realize that they wouldn't be getting anything out of it because the power couldn't be metered or regulated. But they only found that out after the construction of the tower, so they scrapped it.
