https://glbse.com/ I checked 6am EST and just now

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I think Nefario is in a competition against reddit.

They may also be adding options. That was supposed to be happening soon.  -Wrong.

Thanks silverfuture.

I had to reset my password, so it must have been my fault.

My buy orders are disappearing as well even though I have enough to cover them ...
I now I am even unable to place a new buy order ... it just doesn't show up ... they did show up after some 5 mins
Filling in sell orders and placing them works.

That is good because I have been unable to cancel sell orders. There also seems to be a bug with buy orders and available balance.

I've found that the new buy orders are there ... but it took them some 5 mins before showing up

I also get the same message from CloudFlare. (For anyone wondering this is a CDN service that stands between the user and the site and caches anything that can be cached. When the site is down instead of getting the usual "cannot connect" error in your browser, CloudFlare serves its own page)

So wait, some of us see wrong balances and some get the error? I was able to login and my balance was fine about an hour ago.

Sorry for the downtime guys, the move to the new backend was a failure.

Despite my best efforts I was unable to keep it running with any level of reliability. This was an attempt to get GLBSE the ability to run in a parallel environment for scaling up.

Current status is we have moved back to the old platform (that worked), has BTC reserves again and are operating as normal.

We're continuing onward with our plans in GLBSE feature development.

Nefario.

In my contract, it says that all funds will be kept on GLBSE. The reason is that I don't trust anyone else online for the services you provide. Thanks to you and your team for your efforts.
