Right now what we do is collaborate by delegating tasks of writings to members of the group with best skills and knowledge regarding a certain topic, We also collaborate in smaller groups for bigger projects. For your case f you are interested I suggest you forget the idea of being paid up front even if the client does. Expect to be paid in exchange of content that you already made.
