September Bitcoin news: Positive news this month in the online hard to trace digital currency a high profile fucktard fucked a whole lotta fuckwits for 88% less than the previous month. Figures;

Amount high Profile Bitcoin figures scammed other Bitcoin users for relative to all the Bitcoins in existence:

August: >5%
September: <1%

I predict there's going to be a rally off the back of these positive figures!!!

Vladimar if you're reading this you can see I've got the skills and yes I want Matthews old job.

Did anything ever come from that? It seems to have died a particularily lackluster death.

I wondered that myself, and I was even a contestant. I resigned, along with a few other people as I had become occupied.

I'm sorry to say Satoshi Superstars was indeed a flop. A couple of contestants didn't reply to any correspondence once the contest teams were assembled and the contest was officially underway, a few more contestants dropped out, and only three or four of the remaining contestants really put in any effort at all toward completing the first task.

Maybe one day I'll relaunch it, but for now the it's taking a backseat to my other endeavors.

Still around.

I sure hope all the attendies at the conference boo him off the stage for the scummy fuck he is.

This one going to be a memorable conference, that's for sure...

Someone needs to record  it. I can just hear the "get off the stage you fucker!" comments...lol

Here's an interesting tidbit: If you take "Matthew Neal Wright" and anagramize the hell out of it, you get "Megawatt Then Whirl" which sounds very close to that idea you had an hour ago that somehow disappeared.

Matthew just bounced with 800+k USD.  To claim otherwise is to claim that he wouldn't have taken payment had he won.

I still don't get what point MNW was trying to prove.

I didn't lose anything; MNW gained a scammer tag. And added fuel to the already overwhelming pirate discussion.

I kind of suspected he'd never pay (I had my doubts from the beginning but when he lifted his original BTC10,000 limit I started to seriously doubt his intention to pay when he loses).

Yeah, just BTC50. I judged that since BTCS&T was obviously a scam, he'd lose his bet no matter what, and that there was a non-zero possibility that he'd pay instead of taking the scammer tag, my EV would be positive. Turned out I gained nothing. Didn't lose anything either, though.

Matthew committed fraud, plain and simple. While I'm personally only disappointed that I'm not getting 400 BTC, others used this bet as their main method of hedging against Pirate or made other investment decisions based on this bet because they trusted Matthew. Matthew has demonstrated that he is unworthy of anyone's trust.

I guess I was right the first time.
I have no confidence in [Matthew]'s sense of morality, and I will never trade with him.

So....did he take more money than you did?

BTW, I'm also relieved to know that Matthew doesn't even have $200,000 USD to his name, let alone $800,000.

I'm still agonizing over which is funnier... watching the entire spreadsheet worth of bettors get pantsed in public, or the outcry over it.

If anyone who had an IQ reaching into double digits did any background on Matty, and his Hilarious Horde of Hijinks you would have known good and early that this would turn out to be a spoof, a canard, a bon geste. You have all been made out to look as foolish as online personas can possibly be, and every single bettor who lined up for this abuse looks about as intelligent as the losers on To Catch A Predator, who stand there dumbfounded, wondering why they aren't screwing a 14 year old hottie, and they are being grilled on TV instead.

I would imagine the only remorse Matt has is that it fell on the 9th of September, and not the 1st of April.

What a boatload of buffoons! Quick, back into your clown car and go chasing after the next great scheme... you know they next one has to be real...
