I am hoping to get as much as i can, I need a new motorcycle...will ship anywhere in the world if need be, i can also take a video of the cards working. and because I am verry good looking.

Not trying to thread crap, but I have that very same sapphire 5870. It lacks a programmable voltage regulator. It does however have 3 voltages to select from: 1.05, 1.10, and 1.20, and it does seems to pick the next highest voltage if you request a lower voltage (0.95v = 1.05v, 1.049v = 1.05v, 1.05v = 1.05v, 1.051v = 1.10v). Just providing information to potential buyers.
Also interested in the 5970's. I offer $265 shipped to 54501, interested in 1 or 2 cards. eBay has been flooded with a lot of 5970's recently..

You can expect 336 MHash at the stock core speed of 725. if OC is your thing, 800 will bring 371, 850 is 394, and 900 is 417. I'm sure with those numbers you can guess how much mhash you will get from other frequencies too. I ran an exhaustive max mhash per core speed per memory speed to get these numbers. You can look at Sheet 2 to see my data https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjXdY6gpvmJ4dGxqSmhrektQZ2FVVTNiNUE2RnM0U0E&hl=en_US#gid=1

While that's impressive and obv took a lot of time to collect that data, that's really only valid for your hardware, and is subject to change. There are a number of factors that could result in someone getting different speeds than you: Different hardware (aka different motherboard) Linux vs Win (and what version of Win at that) 32 vs 64bit Driver SDK Mining software Kernel (and revision)(and vector/worksize/intensity settings) As seen here, what you've found to be optimal memory setting might not even work on newer version of CGMiner, and moving to SDK 2.5 changes what mem speed you should be at.

If you want to use a slower kernel or SDK, then that's your prerogative. In the meantime, I will use what I know is fastest.

If you want to use a slower kernel or SDK, then that's your prerogative. In the meantime, I will use what I know is fastest. Did you not read the link I posted? Newer kernels have a chance at submitting more shares, which is what really matters. The newer kernels require the newer mining programs, which require newer (than 2.1) SDK, which require you to change your mem speed on 5xxx cards.
