I've been doing a lot of reading lately into GPUMAX, as well as some other hotly debated topics that may or may not be related to GPUMAX, and I became curious as to how GPUMAX users actually used the site.

It's almost like Fight Club, no one wants to talk about it, but it might be nice to see some of these stats so we had a better idea of what was happening behind the scenes, so to speak.

I use it for everything. It's great for changing pools, making some money, and maybe one of these days I'll figure out how to make money from a purchase.

lol no box for "never joined"

but just quietly if your lease price is just a tiny bit lower than other ppls you will get leased work 1st, if ppl start advertising the rate they use, it gives other ppl a point to set thier rate below
which then will become a race to the cheapest price and basically take any advantage out of using GPUMAX

but as I dont use it, go ahead - its always a lol to watch these convos Cheesy

I second that talking about gpumax and the price hurts everybody including the operator and the users so there is no point in talking about it, census at this point will do more harm than good, it is a scarce resource pool.

so dont talk about it

Rule number one about GPUMax fight club, is you dont talk about GPUMax fight club....

It goes back to old, previous discussions already had on the forums, talking about it and what goes on, specifically about the rates, dilutes it for the users.  So, you either sign up to join, find out about it then, or you ask someone in the know privately.  But users dont want to talk about specific numbers because ones those are out there, things change.

Squiggly letters, written really fast, with a couple of dots for good measure.

Im not concerned with rates, I already know how the pps system works and I'm not looking to disrupt that system.

Im just curious how everyone is choosing to use the system...
