I am selling Royal Canadian Mint coin sets from 1965 and 1966. Each one contains an 80% silver dollar, half dollar, quarter and dime. They also contain a nickel nickel and a copper penny. In total each set has 1.1 Troy oz of pure silver.

They are sealed in the original RCM plastic that they were originally issued in. Some have original envelopes and COAs, others are just the coins. If you care about the envelopes let me know when you ask for a quote.

I have:

   - 4 x 1965 RCM coin sets, 1.1 troy oz of silver each
   - 4 x 1966 RCM coin sets, 1.1 troy oz of silver each

I am asking melt value, that is the current price of silver divided by the current bitcoin price multiplied by the number of troy oz. Example: Silver is at $30.92 and bitcoins are at $10.62 and you want 3 sets, that is ( $30.92 / $10.62 ) * 3.3oz = 9.6079BTC

I also want .5BTC shipping to US or Canada, I can ship elsewhere but contact me first to work out shipping costs.

Buy all 8 sets and get 5% off the price of the coins. That is 8.8oz of silver for 95% melt value.

Actually 114% you left out the 80% multiplier for the purity of the silver in your calculations, you need to multiply by 1.2 to get the final cost vs spot to take that into account.

Each set has 1.1 troy oz of silver after taking into account that they are 80%. The full weight of the silver coins is higher. For example the dollar weighs 23.33 grams and is 80% silver and 20% copper, this gives it a silver weight of: 23.33 * .8 = 18.664 grams. 18.664 grams / 31.1 = 0.6 troy oz.

For 80% silver Canadian coinage each dollar face value is .6 troy oz. 1 + .5 + .25 + .1 = 1.85, 1.85 * .6 = 1.11oz

My math was correct, it is 8.8oz of actual silver for 95% melt. Feel free to check on a reference site such a coinflation.com. Thanks for trying to help though.

If that is the case then you would be correct.

I am very careful when it comes to calculating melt value, I will however show my work in the future to make sure there are no such misunderstandings.

Left you PM.

Replied.

To be clear about these coins, they are in their original plastic holder but the envelopes and COAs are either damaged or missing. This has little effect on their value as these sets of little or no numismatic value due to very high mintages.

I had someone express interest and another person ask for a quote so I have had these on hold. However neither of them actually came through on the deal so these are back up for sale.

Troy oz these items are available for sale once again. References available on request.
