This should fix your error you need to update Berkeley DB:

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/build-unix.md#berkeley-db

If this doesn't work, can you download bitcoin core compiled from the ppa? https://launchpad.net/~bitcoin/+archive/ubuntu/bitcoin
