Liberty reserves has been in "scheduled maintenance" since the 20th.
It simply is impossible to exchange it.  Even if you could it might be a good idea to find out if LR is worth anything before accepting any deals.

Thanks for the info. i saw some posts on another forum about how they started to mysteriously freeze peoples accounts Paypal style. Any idea why they'd go rogue like this?

LR is back online.  Hit refresh in your browser if it still shows the "site is down" message.

I see they are back online as well. Is it safe to use though? Has anyone used it successfully after it came back up. Having used BTCitcoin since May 2011 and all the scams I've seen, I've learnt caution is a virtue in the world of digital currency.
