Hi guys, I'm a very strong chess player @ expert/master level, looking for some new students to teach over the internet.

I'm an experienced trainer with over a decade of experience of training juniors and adults alike. If you like playing chess, or would like to improve your game, let me help you improve. My teaching method will create a custom tailored chess education program for you that will allow you to build upon and rapidly improve your chess game. I'll email you opening theory and current state of the art opening ideas from top Grandmaster praxis, and help you develop a plan to improve your calculating and strategic thinking.

Some areas of chess I will address with you include:

-Finding and creating an opening repertoire for you and your chess career,
-Middle game strategy (the bishop pair, closed verses open positions, sacrifice, chess creativity)
-Tactical ability, themes
-Attacking play
-Defensive play
-Positional Technique/converting and exploiting advantages
-Time/clock management
-General chess Psychology
-Endgame technique

We can have a look at your level and some of your games (if you have any rated, USCF/FIDE games, or just online games, though this isn't totally necessary) and I will build up a program of improvement for your chess.

Appointments for lessons will be set up at your preferred time. Lessons will be exchanged over FaceTime or Skype, as well as playing valuable coaching games over the Chess.com server. If necessary or you'd like, You and I will play speed chess (blitz) and or lightning chess, or slower chess (15-45 mins/a game unless otherwise agreed upon.) and use these games to figure out weaknesses in your play and just where we can rapidly improve upon.

Do not be surprised if your rating or chess level goes up rapidly after 2 or 3 lessons. You'll be paying for my complete and undivided attention for a half hour to full hour of chess education from a master level player. My enthusiasm for chess will undoubtably produce serious growth in your game. Let me help you get on the road to chess mastery!

Payment will be negotiable for more then 3 hours of chess instruction, and I will accept Bitcoin and other Altcoin. Message me for details. I'll accept most major altcoins.

~Price for half an hour of chess lessons: .07BTC ($15USD)

~Price for an hour of chess lessons: .11BTC ($25USD)

~3 hours of chess lessons to be used all together or at your disposal (recommended): .29BTC ($65USD)

If you want to improve your chess understanding fast then message me today. I can be reached by email at

mightygoodkarma@gmail.com

I look forward to helping you learn or improve the game of kings!

Your Chess.com link is wrong. Correct one: http://www.chess.com/members/view/Snow_Lion.

Your rating looks good, btw. We might meet there in a game someday! Wink

Thats a brilliant idea - teach people how play chess and receive btc for it.
But how can you prove your skills and that you are a professional chess player?

Check his ratings. http://www.chess.com/members/view/Snow_Lion

Sent him a PM via Chess.com to verify this is run by him.

Whats the time it normally takes you to teach someone to be average?

That is an impossible question to answer. It will vary greatly from player to player based on their age, how long they have been playing, current level and natural ability.

I do not know this coach but I wanted to post in this thread to that receiving lessons for bitcoin is a perfect way to learn chess at a reasonable price.  Not everyone is lucky enough to have quality coaching available locally and those that do generally will pay a large premium compared to online rates.

Many of the bitcointalk threads I found discussing chess related to gambling which is a horrible idea for online chess because of the strength of computers.

Lol this was posted 2years ago. I think the owner is not active from this forum anymore. Look at his last login date: August 25, 2015, 06:29:31 AM

Much better to contact him on his chess.com profile: https://www.chess.com/member/snow_lion
