If you cant prove ownership by signing bitcoin message than there is no prove that the account is yours, there will be a chance that someone might be claiming it in the future

he already said that he cannot prove ownership.

The only reliable way to prove ownership is to get a signed message from a old address associated with the account. Any other way will involve looking at proof from something that is likely easier to hack then a bitcointalk account.

if people are really that worried that it might be a hacked account, we can do the deal you can take the account, we'll use an escrow and the escrow will be instructed to hold my money for 1 or 2 weeks until its released to me?
