I have a 2007 Honda Civic Type-R FN2, 66k Miles, some service history from Honda then serviced by specialist. New gearbox fitted by Honda less than 5k miles ago (my wife drove it whilst I was in the states on work!) its in overall great condition. The car sat around for a while (since this time last year) but I start and drive it every other weekend as well as regularly cleaning it.
I have a new car so its surplus to requirements (we have 5 cars in the family and the wife is getting annoyed!). If I was super-rich I would keep it as A. it handles far better than my new Golf and B. The K20 i-VTEC engine is the best petrol 4-cyl ever!
I would sell it for BTC if anyone is interested, I put a value of around £6500 on it. That equates to around 1000BTC atm but open to negotitation depending on current exchange rates etc.
The problem is here in the UK the market is saturated with used cars, and I am just not getting many people interested. Those that do call, want it for under market value or just timewasters wanting to test drive it.
If I dont get much interest from the bitcoin community I will put it on auto trader in a weeks time. So you guys have a 7-day advantage on the market lol! Clearly I would prefer this transaction to take place in person as there are some additional complexities and paperwork etc involved with transferring ownership.
